Tehran, (ST) – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani affirmed that his country will not make concessions or accept negotiations under pressure and threat.
Kanaani made it clear in his weekly press conference on Monday that Iran has committed itself to the nuclear agreement, but the United States of America withdrew from it. “The agreement is available and that the parties concerned can reach it in the shortest possible time”, he added.
Kanaani pointed out that Iran is still committed to the negotiation process and seeks to resolve it, but it will not negotiate on the basis of the need for negotiations. He considered that the West’s need for negotiation is no less than his country’s need for it.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman reiterated that Iran rejects the Western countries’ exploitation of the recent developments inside the country to achieve their political purposes.
