A security source in Daraa: The Qurashi terrorist whose death was announced by ISIS is the same Abd al-Rahman al-Iraqi who was killed during the security operation in Jasem

Damascus (ST): A security source in Daraa confirmed that the leader of the terrorist organization (ISIS) called “Abu Al-Hassan Al-Hashemi Al-Qurashi,” whose death the organization announced a few days ago, is the same called Abd Al-Rahman Al-Iraqi, known as “Saif Baghdad.” He was killed during the security operation that was carried out by the Syrian Arab Army with the support of local  groups against ISIS in the city of Jasem in the northern countryside of Daraa on the 15th of October of this year.

The source told news reporter: The terrorist “Abu al-Hassan al-Hashimi al-Qurashi,” called “Saif Baghdad,” is the so-called “General Emir” of ISIS in the southern region, and he was killed along with the entire members of his group after targeting his headquarters in the northern neighborhood of Jasem city in Daraa countryside. This was announced through the Syrian media at the time.

The source added: The terrorist al-Qurashi, who is Iraqi, leads the operations of organizing and supervising the extension of his influence towards the Jordanian, Iraqi and Syrian lands, and he is primarily responsible for the assassination plan that was being conducted in the northern region of Daraa Governorate, through a network whose work is based on the principle of “fatwa” within what is similar to a “retribution court” established in one of the farms in the city of Jasem in the northern countryside of Daraa.
