With the participation of 30 women from different provinces, the annual Mawred Bazaar held to activate the role of women in Lattakia

Latakia (ST): A wide variety of handicrafts, such as accessories, gifts, and decorative pieces made of cardboard, wood, and glass, and natural products such as soap and oils for hair and skin treatment, are displayed within the annual Mawred Bazaar organized by the Mawred Association in Miramar Hotel, Lattakia.
Thirty women from different Syrian governorates  participate in the bazaar, which will last for three days, to display their products and promote their services, including health centers, beauty centers, and foodstuffs.
The vice president of the association, Eng. Hassan Kaddour, explained in a statement to  news reporter that the bazaar sheds light on the work of women producers who own their projects or are agents for certain products from different governorates, in line with the objectives of the association, which was established in 2003 with the aim of activating and developing the role of women in economic development, adding that this year’s edition is distinguished by the participation of women from small age groups, which is clear evidence of the increase in the number of women who are self-reliant, and this reflects positively on production.
The participant, Eng. Shaza Al-Daher, indicated that she started making accessories as a hobby for her, explaining that her passion for the world of beauty and its various elements prompted her to go into this experience and make pieces that differ from ready-made ones with her special touch, idea, and love.
