On the anniversary of the Usurpation of Alexandretta … a protest in Saadallah Al-Jabri Square in Aleppo

Saadallah Al-Jabri Square in the city of Aleppo witnessed a vigil on the 83rd anniversary of the detachment of the Iskenderun Province from the motherland  Syria, under the title “Alexanderetta is Arab-Syrian from eternity to the end of times… Returning to the homeland.”

Shaheen al-Hajji, head of the Association of the Sons of Iskenderun , which organized the stand, stated that the stand aims to protest against the systematic Turkification policies in the Iskenderun district and currently in northern Syria, pointing out that the brigade will always remain in the national memory and the struggle will continue until the Brigade returns to the bosom of the homeland Syria.

The participants stressed that Alexandretta is Syrian Arab and that the Syrian geography is one and unified, indicating that the occupation, no matter how long it takes, is doomed to an end. The participants further stressed that the Alexandretta  is an integral part of the Syrian territory and a right that will return to its owners no matter how long it takes.
