The Arab student youth delegation: We are proud of Syria’s steadfastness in the face of the terrorist war and its national stances
The political meeting between the National Union of Syrian Students and the Arab student youth delegation visiting Syria focused on the importance of unity and the need to strengthen its components at the current stage.
The delegation includes 45 young men and women from Egypt, Morocco, Kuwait, Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon and Palestine.
The Chairperson of the National Union of Syrian Students, Darine Suleiman, stated in a speech during the meeting that the Syrian students stood together alongside all the institutions of society and popular organizations, against the terrorist ideology that tried to target the social fabric and the Syrian society with all its components.
She said that Syria has not abandoned the concept of Arabism and nationalism.
She said: “The Union is hosting the Arab Youth Solidarity Tourist Forum to Damascus as an expression of the solidarity of these youth with Syria in word and deed.”
The general supervisor of the Arab Youth Solidarity Tourist Forum, head of the delegation, Abdullah Abdel Hamid, considered that the terrorist war that ravaged Syria could not overthrow it, but rather increased its resolve and strength.
He noted that the Syrian people stand united in confronting the plans aimed at fragmenting and dispersing the people of the one country.
The youth of the delegation expressed their pride in the steadfastness of the Syrian people, army and leadership in the face of the terrorist war and affirmed their support for it and their solidarity with the national and patriotic positions of it.
The delegation had arrived in Syria earlier today on a visit during which it would meet with the Syrian youth to confirm the Arab solidarity with the positions of the Syrian leadership and people.
