US occupation acknowledges its base in Al-Shaddadi area in Syria’s Hasakah was targeted by a rocket attack
The US occupation on Friday acknowledged that its base in Al-Shaddadi area in Hasakah southern countryside, northeast of Syria, was targeted by a rocket attack.
Two rockets were fired at the US base in Al-Shaddadi in Syria’s Hasakah province that resulted in no injuries or damage, the U.S. Central Command, which leads the “International Coalition” allegedly against ISIS, said in a statement.
In the same context, local and media sources said that three explosions were heard this midnight in Al-Shaddadi as Katyusha rockets fell on the US base in the Directorate of Al-Jibseh oilfields.
The US occupation forces in the city of Al-Shaddadi are on high alert as several occupation drones and helicopters continue to fly over the city amid heavy deployment of the US-backed “Syrian Democratic Forces” (SDF) separatist militia in this area.
Recent months witnessed intensified rocket attacks on the US occupation bases in Syria, the latest of which was carried out on November 17th, and the American occupation forces admitted that a missile attack targeted their military base in the “Green Village” in Al-Omar oilfield in Deir Ezzor countryside.
These incidents are taking place amid growing popular rejection of the presence of any occupation forces on Syrian territories.
