Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that Russian President Vladimir Putin had not received any draft peace agreement with Ukraine before the G20 summit.
Sputnik quoted Peskov as saying in a statement today about whether such a project had been received: It did not happen, and President Putin did not go to the G-20 summit, and the Russian delegation to it was headed by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
The G20 summit was held in Indonesia in the middle of this month.
In another context, Peskov stressed the need for Ukraine to withdraw its heavy weapons from the area surrounding the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, and to stop the bombing of that area.
Peskov said: We must demand Ukraine to withdraw heavy weapons and stop bombing and endangering the European continent, pointing out that the threat lurking in the station is represented by those who bomb it, which is the artillery of the Ukrainian forces.
