Belarus announces security reinforcements on its border with Ukraine

Minsk (ST): Belarus has announced additional security reinforcements on its border with Ukraine and its readiness to eliminate any terrorists who may try to infiltrate it.

“We are constantly working to protect the borders, and today we have strengthened our presence in particular on the borders with Ukraine,” said Belarusian Interior Minister Ivan Kubrakov in a televised interview, noting that the ministry had received a clear mission to eliminate any terrorists trying to infiltrate the country from abroad.

The Belarusian Ministry of Interior confirmed earlier that its forces are ready to respond to any attack targeting the country.
