Syria wins a bronze medal for in the World Robot Olympiad in Germany

On November 20thSyria won a bronze medal in the World Robotics Olympiad, which was held in Dortmund, Germany, from the 16th to the 19th of November. 

The Excellence and Creativity Commission stated that the Syrian Olympic team participating in this Olympiad won the bronze medal, including Walid Sheibani, Sami Maarouf, Karim Maddi and coach Abdul Rahman Hourani, as part of the robot mission’scompetition for the higher category. 

2,275 male and female contestants, distributed among 365 teams, representing 73 countries, participated in the Olympiad, under the title “My Robot My Friend”.
