Nebenzia: Ukraine has become a testing ground for various types of Western weapons

Last night, Russia’s permanent representative to the United Nations, VassilyNebenzya, announced that Ukraine and Poland tried to provoke a direct clash between Russia and NATO, through the incident of the falling  missile  on Polish territory.

During a session of the UN Security Council, Nebenzia stressed that Ukraine has become a field for testing various types of weapons for the West.

He said that NATO countries become involved in the conflict through arms supplies to Ukraine, and that the United States has become involved in planning and leading combat operations.

He said:“If there was no prior decision to convene this session of the UN Security Council, it would have been necessary to hold it to discuss Ukraine and Poland’s attempts to provoke a direct clash between Russia and NATO.”

He pointed to the bad reputation of the Ukrainian air defenses, recalling its downing of a Russian civilian plane over the Black Sea in 2001, killing 78 people.

The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed that the photos of the missile wreckage that fell near the Polish village of Pshevodov show that it belonged to the S-300 air defense system of the Ukrainian Air Force.
