The number of victims of the terrorist attack in Izeh, Iran, has risen to 7

The number of victims of the terrorist attack that took place in the city of Izeh in Khuzestan Province, southwestern Iran, yesterday rose to 7 people.

The Iranian IRNA news agency stated that two people were injured in the terrorist attack, who died this morning, bringing the number of victims of this terrorist attack to 7.

On November 16th, a group of gunmen riding two motorcycles opened fire directly on citizens and police officers in the central market in the city of Izeh, killing 5 people instantly and wounding 10 others.

The security affairs assistant in Khuzestan Province, Valiullah Hayati, said that among the victims were a young girl and a woman.

On the night of  November 16th, the Director General of the Justice Department of Khuzestan Province announced the arrest of 3 people who were mainly involved in this terrorist attack.

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi asked the security services to work to uncover the identity of those involved in the terrorist attack, arrest them and hand them over to the judiciary for a just punishment against them.

Raisi offered condolences to the families of the victims, and instructed that the necessary facilities be provided to monitor the conditions of the injured.
