The People’s Assembly on the Anniversary of the Correctionist Movement: Reconstruction and building a renewed Syria is an urgent necessity

Damascus (ST): The People’s Assembly affirmed that the glorious correctionist movement laid the foundations of a comprehensive renaissance that affected various aspects of life in Syria, and that the Syrian Arab people were determined to preserve their sovereignty and national unity.
A statement issued by the Assembly on the occasion of the fifty-second anniversary of the glorious correction movement stated: The proud Syrian people have proven day after day, through their loyalty, sacrifices, and complete national unity, that they always renew and restore the images of the Correction Movement by confronting everyone who tries to undermine the sovereignty, land and independence of their country.
The Assembly pointed out that the Correctionist Movement sparked by the bases of the Arab Socialist Baath Party led by the founding leader Hafez al-Assad laid the foundations for a comprehensive renaissance that affected various aspects of life, and through which Syria made great strides at all levels, and that President Bashar al-Assad completed the course and approach of Correction in working to build a new Syria to move forward in its active national and pan-Arab role.
