Hama (ST): The branch of the General Company for Water Projects in Hama started the construction of a sewage treatment plant in the central region at a cost of more than 40 billion pounds in the city of Suran in the northern countryside.
Nabugh Ibrahim, director of the company’s branch, said in a statement to a news reporter that the wastewater treatment plant in Suran is the largest current construction project in the central region and extends over an area of 4 hectares. He pointed out that the company’s branch provided all the requirements for the technical and construction work of the project, including concrete and metal materials, and electrical and mechanical equipment to complete the project, which will continue for about two years.
