Moscow, (ST) – The Russian Ambassador to the United States, Anatoly Antonov, affirmed that America does not stop searching and hunting for Russian citizens in third countries. He described these practices as unacceptable.
RIA Novosti News Agency quoted Antonov as saying that with regard to the pursuit or arrest of our citizens in third countries, we have repeatedly said that we are categorically opposed to the American policy of searching for Russians in various countries of the world. “Today I find myself forced to admit that the Americans do not stop searching for Russians, but continuing their activities is totally unacceptable,” Antonov added.
Antonov’s comments came after his visit to the Russian Roman Seleznev, who was kidnapped by US intelligence in the Maldives in 2014 and is currently in a North Carolina prison.
