The Palestinian detainee in the Israeli jails Samer Al-Issawi continued with his open-ended hunger strike for the fifteenth day in protest against the Israeli occupation crimes.
The Commission of the Palestinian Detainees and Ex-detainees said in a statement on Monday that the occupation forces transferred Al-Issawi to a solitary confinement cell in Rimon prison after he refused to stop the hunger strike which he started 15 days ago in solidarity with the families of the martyrs whose bodies are still held by the occupation.
The commission pointed out that two days ago, Al-Issawi was injured after the occupation forces stormed into his cell in Al-Naqab prison and beat him.
The Israeli occupation detained Al-Issawi in 2003 and released him in 2011. In 2012, the occupation detained him again and he staged a hunger strike for 9 months before he regained freedom in December, 2013. However, the occupation re-arrested him in June, 2014.
