Syrian Arab army flushes terrorists out 11 towns in Aleppo

PROVINCES,(ST)_ Some 11 towns in Aleppo countryside have become safe amid reports of eliminating 15 terrorists in a series of operations in Darayya city outside Damascus and destroying several weapons-laden boats in al-Rastan lake in Homs province.

In details, an official source declared today that the armed forces restored stability and security to 11 towns- Tal Zgheb, Torkat, alNerab, Tal Abor, alBarakeh, alMasyadeh, alHabeseh, Tat, Berj alRemman, alAmereyeh, and alHmera- in the southwestern countryside of Aleppo in the wake of vanquishing terrorists from there.

Tens of explosive devices, planted by terrorists in the towns, were defused during a mopping up operation, according to the source.

Failed infiltration bids

In other areas in Aleppo province, the armed forces ambushed armed terrorist groups trying to infiltrate into quarters of Sliman al-Halabi and al-Arqob from al-Sakhor and al-Sheikh Kheder areas.

They also clashed with terrorists trying to sneak from al-Obri Factory into safe areas in al-Layramon and wiped out terrorist groupings in five areas in Aleppo countryside where 6 cars loaded with arms were reportedly destroyed.

Arms-laden boats

Further quantity of weaponry was destroyed when the armed forces targeted several boats loaded with arms and munitions in al-Rastan Lake in Homs province plus a weapons-loaded truck on Kafr Roma-Ma’arret al-Noaman in Idlib province.

On the other hand, the armed forces crushed an unknown number of terrorists in more than 20 areas in the two provinces (Homs and Idlib) and warded off an armed terrorists’ bid to infiltrate into Bsida town outside Ma’arret al-Moaman in Idlib.

Moving towards the south of the country, precisely in Daraa province, a clash flared up between units of armed forces and armed terrorist groups in Nawa city, around 23 km to the east of Tafas town.

Many terrorists died in Nawa city and Tal al-Samn area.

While other terrorists were mowed down in a quarrel erupted between them in Em al-Mayaden town in the same province (Daraa).

Operations in Darayya city

In Damascus countryside, the armed forces killed 15 terrorists in a series of operations carried out in Drayya city, around 12km to the south-west of the capital [Damascus], and raided terrorist groupings in farms of Der Salman, al-Delbeh, and al-Bahhareyeh and in al-Eb farms in Duma area.

Other terrorist groupings and a chunk of weapons were wiped out in areas of al-Nabk, Yabroud and al-Rhebeh outside Damascus, an official source confirmed.

It pointed out continuity of crack down operations against terrorists in areas of Barzeh, al-Qabon, Jobar and Zamalka, to the north-east of Damascus.
