Inspired by October victory, Syrians will achieve new victory against terrorism

Syrian people are currently celebrating the 40th anniversary of October Liberation War which is considered as a turning point in the modern history of the Arab nation and a shining example of valour, heroism and glory. October victory has constituted an inexhaustible source of inspiration for Syrian people and army in confrontation of the conspiracies and plots hatched against Syria and the Arab nation over the past four decades. Conspiracies against Syria started immediately following October war, but the Syrian people and army emerged victorious because of their complete adherence to the sublime values and great meanings of October victory.

This year’s anniversary comes as the Syrian Arab army is further determined to perform the sublime duty of defending the homeland and eradicating terrorism to foil anti-Syria conspiracies hatched by the West and its regional and Arab tools to achieve colonialist interests at the expense of Syrian people.

October victory  anniversary is an opportunity for motivation towards development and struggle and an opportunity for unifying all efforts at the local, Arab, regional and international arenas to uproot terrorism and resolve the crisis in Syria peacefully through conducting a comprehensive dialogue that encompasses all spectra of Syrian society without any form of foreign intervention. The solution to the crisis in Syria will only be purely Syrian far from foreign interferences and dictations in the domestic affairs of Syria. On this occasion, it is very important to unite efforts to face the conspiracy and extinguish seditions hatched against the homeland.

This year’s anniversary comes within extraordinary circumstances as the Arab nation is facing several challenges, especially the so-called Arab spring which aims to destabilize the Arab region and plunder its resources. Syria is facing false accusations and threats to undermine its firm stances towards supporting resistance and confronting Zionist schemes. The global conspiracy against Syria aims to empower the forces of the foreign scheme and its tools inside with the aim of taking Syria out of the circle of confrontation against the Zionist enemy and Western plots.

The high awareness of the Syrian people and their strong national unity will enable them to uproot terrorism, overcome the crisis and emerge out of the crisis stronger and more steadfast in confrontation of the Zionist American agenda which aims to enable Israel  invade the Arab homeland politically and economically.

The sacrifices of the Syrian Arab Army and the martyrs who offered their blood to defend the soil of the homeland and the dignity of its people will be a source of pride and strength for all Syrians to press ahead with their struggle and believe in the inevitability of victory against terrorism and its supporters. The Syrian Arab people who won previous battles will achieve a new victory against international terrorism.  October victory would bring another victory to Syria against terrorism and the sinister American Zionist project which aims to create sectarian sedition in the region and undermine Syria’s resistant and pan-Arab role.
