Riyadh, (ST) – The Syrian national football team for the U-23 category qualified for the semi-finals of 2022 West Asian Federation Championship (WAFF) that was held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The Syrian team came second in the second group, after Saudi Arabia .Bahrain team came third.
The first group includes the teams of Oman, Qatar and Lebanon.
