A national meeting in Homs in preparation for launching settlement process next Sunday in Al-Waer neighborhood

Homs (ST): In implementation of Amnesty Decree No. 7 of 2022 and to complement the process of national reconciliations, Homs Governorate held a national meeting today in preparation for launching the settlement process for the conditions of wanted military and civilians next Sunday at the Central Settlement Center in the Fairs City in the Al-Waer neighborhood.

The meeting on the stage of the Arab Cultural Center included members of the settlement committee in the governorate, civil and partisan activities, sheikhs, tribal elders, Islamic and Christian clergy and members of the People’s Assembly.

The Governor of Homs, Engineer Numir Makhlouf, affirmed the governorate’s complete readiness to provide all facilities to those who wish to settle in the governorate, indicating that the settlement opens up prospects for all citizens to exercise their active role in society.

For his part, Omar Houriya, the Secretary of the Homs branch of the Arab Socialist Baath Party, said: “During the past years, we have lost many of our finest civilian and military martyrs, and we have lost many infrastructures, but we won the homeland with the strength of our steadfast Syrian Arab Army and the sacrifices of our righteous martyrs and thanks to our national unity.”
