Lebanon reports 3 new Cholera cases

The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health on Friday announced, in a report on Cholera cases in Lebanon, that 3 Cholera cases have been registered in the past 24 hours, thus raising the total number of confirmed cases so far to 416.

The number of deaths from Cholera since the outbreak of the disease in Lebanon has reached 18, the ministry said.

An estimated 1.3 to 4 million people around the world get cholera each year and 21,000 to 143,000 people die from it, according to international statistics.
