More displaced Syrians, residing in refugee camps in Lebanon, return home

New batches of displaced Syrians, who were residing in refugee camps in Lebanon, returned on Saturday to their homeland via Al-Dabousiya border crossing in Homs countryside and the Al-Zamrani border crossing in Damascus countryside. The returnees will be transferred by concerned authorities to their areas of residence, which are now safe after having been liberated from terrorism.

The move comes within the framework of the efforts being exerted by the Syrian State to help the displaced Syrians return to their homeland.

On October 26th, tens of displaced Syrian families, living in Lebanon, returned to their villages and towns that were liberated from terrorism by the Syrian Arab Army.

The parties concerned took all measures necessary for welcoming the returned families. The relief teams provided necessary medical services and child vaccines to the returnees and secured transportation means to transfer them to their areas of residence.

A number of returnees described to SANA how happy they are for returning to their homeland after long years of suffering in the refugee camps.

They stressed that many displaced Syrians want now to return home, particularly after they contacted previous returnees and were encouraged by them to come back as security has returned to their areas.

Many of the returnees said that they will start working again so that they can fix what the terrorists have damaged. Many others said that they will join the  Syrian army to defend the homeland against terrorism and aggression.
