Bronze for Syria in the World Unifight Championship

Moscow (ST): Syrian national team player for martial arts Mahmoud Badr El-Din won the bronze medal with a weight of over 75 kg in the Men’s World Championships in Unifight.

In a statement, coach Issam Tofaha said that the player Badr El-Din managed to win the bronze medal after qualifying for the quarter-finals, then beat a player from Kyrgyzstan by a difference in time and lost to a player from Congo in the fighting round after he was ahead of him in the hurdles round, pointing out that the tournament witnessed strong competitions between the players in an enthusiastic atmosphere, and a clear determination to win the championship titles.
