Mass rallies in various Iranian cities on the occasion of the Day of Fighting Global Arrogance

Tehran (ST): Rallies were launched today in Tehran and all Iranian cities on the occasion of the day to combat global arrogance, with the participation of students and different groups of the Iranian people.

Fars News Agency stated that huge crowds of different segments of the people participated in these marches to denounce global arrogance, and reaffirm their loyalty and their support for the Iranian leadership, and their adherence to the principles of martyrdom and martyrs.

In their chants and banners, the participants expressed their support for the Iranian police and its leadership, considering that the elements of this force constitute the cornerstone of the country’s security and safety.

The participants also chanted slogans denouncing the United States and the Israeli occupation entity, expressing their condemnation of America’s crimes against the Iranian people.

Similar rallies were held throughout the Islamic Republic of Iran simultaneously, in more than 900 cities and districts in the country.

It is noteworthy that on this day in 1979, Iranian university students took control of the American embassy, and detained embassy employees who were spying on the country and had a hand in sabotaging security and stability until they were released after 444 days.
