The forum, which was held in cooperation with the Syrian Trust for Development and concluded its activities yesterday at the Dama Rose Hotel in Damascus, was attended by more than 70 private companies and educational institutions.

Owners of restaurants, hotels and cafes, said that their participation aims to present job opportunities, fill the shortage of manpower, and achieve social responsibility towards the new graduates through training them in the workplace.

The sales supervisor at one of the electronic payment services companies saw that the company found an opportunity in the forum to attract young people who wish to work in new fields and to keep pace with the developments of electronic services.

Public and private educational institutions considered the forum as a space to introduce new educational and training disciplines imposed by the development of tourism work.

The importance of the forum is to support those wishing to work and introduce them to tourist facilities and link them directly with places that need manpower. The Forum constituted a platform to present job opportunities with the aim of networking between employers and applicants, in addition to providing training and qualification opportunities, a CV writing mechanism, and conducting job interviews.
