The process of settling the status of wanted persons continued in Douma area and its environs of a number of eastern Ghouta and Adra al-Balad towns, according to the agreement put forward by the state. A settlement center will be open tomorrow in the town of Irbeen.
The concerned authorities decided to transfer the settlement center from the headquarters of the municipality of Douma to the neighboring town of Irbeen in Eastern Ghouta, to start receiving wanted persons wishing to settle their status tomorrow morning.
A number of those who escaped from the compulsory and reserve services and who settled their situations said that the simplified procedures and after communicating with a number of those who preceded them in joining the settlement process, decided to come to the center and settle their status. Those who settled their status are ready to join the military service in the ranks of the Syrian Arab Army to carry out their national duty to defend the soil of Syria and cleanse terrorism.
The amnesty decree issued by President Bashar al-Assad contributed to strengthening the state of security and social stability, which paved the way for the return of many wanted persons to the practice of normal life, and opened a new page for them under the title of tolerance and the purification of hearts.
All those who settled their status expressed gratitude to the competent authorities for opening the center in order to give the wanted persons the opportunity to be active in their society based on the amnesty decree.
The process of regularizing the status of a number of wanted persons from the towns and villages of Eastern Ghouta, Adra Al-Balad, Al-Nashabiyeh, Irbeen, Kafr Batna, Saqba, Ain Tarma and Zamalka has been initially launched in the city of Douma.
