Stands in the West Bank in demand  of the return of the bodies of the martyrs

Hundreds of Palestinians participated today in vigils in front of the headquarters of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the cities of Hebron, Jenin and Bethlehem in the West Bank, demanding the return of the bodies of martyrs held by the Israeli occupation authorities.
Wafa Agency stated that the participants in the vigils called by the Palestinian national forces raised pictures of the martyrs whose bodies were being held by the occupation and also raised banners stating “We want our children” and “Detaining the bodies of the martyrs is an international and humanitarian crime and a clear violation of the provisions of the Fourth Geneva Convention.”
The mothers of the martyrs handed notes to the Red Cross asking it to pressurize the occupation into agreeing that they retrieve the bodies.
The Director of the Commission for Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs, Ibrahim Najajrah, stressed the need for international human rights and human rights institutions to have a more effective role in order to compel the occupation authorities to hand over the bodies and enable their families to bury them, in accordance with the divine laws in order to preserve their dignity.
