Wall Resistance Commission: Israeli occupation, settlers carried out 1197 attacks in the West Bank last month

The Palestinian Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission has stated that the Israeli occupation forces and settlers carried out 1197 attacks against the Palestinians in the West Bank last month, including storming into Palestinian villages and towns, razing agricultural lands, uprooting trees and seizing properties.

In its monthly report, the commission said that the Israeli forces focused their attacks on the West Bank cities of Al-Khalil (224 attacks), Nablus (220 attacks), Ramallah (201 attacks), while the rest of the attacks targeted other West Bank areas.

Muayyad Shaaban, the head of the Commission, said that the occupation authorities issued 12 notifications for demolishing Palestinian houses, stopping the building of new houses and evacuating Palestinian facilities, most of them in the cities of Qalqilya and Tubas. The occupation also demolished 43 houses, shops and agricultural facilities in the cities of Al-Khalil, Al-Quds and Ramallah, Shaaban added.

He pointed out that the occupation seized 616 dunums of Palestinian land in the villages of Al-Sawyeh, Al-Laban and Qarout in Nablus and announced 11 settlement expansion plans in different parts of the West Bank.

Shaaban also said that the attacks, carried out by Israeli settlers under the protection of occupation forces, reached 254, most of them in Nablus. He pointed out that the settlers cut off 1548 olive trees in Al-Khalil, Nablus and Tubas.
