Exchanging parliamentary experiences between Syria and Iran very important to enhance bilateral ties

Member of The People’s Assembly (PA) and Deputy Head of the Syrian-Iranian Friendship Committee Haifaa Jum’a has stressed the deep-rooted relations between Syria and Iran.

In a statement upon her arrival in Tehran on Monday leading a delegation of the friendship committee, Jum’a said that cooperation between Syria and Iran, particularly in the parliamentary field contributes to enhancing bilateral ties in all domains which helps achieve the common goals and interests of the peoples of the two countries and confront the common challenges.

Exchanging parliamentary experiences is important to broaden the ties between the two countries, she affirmed.

Jum’a is visiting Iran at the invitation of Deputy Head of the Iranian-Syrian Parliamentary Friendship Society Abbas Kalro.

Kalro, on his part, pointed out that very important and useful decisions were made during the visit of the delegation of the Iranian-Syrian Parliamentary Friendship Society to Damascus that will boost bilateral relations in different fields.
