Rio de Janeiro (ST): Former Brazilian President Luis Inacio Lula da Silva won the second round of Brazil’s presidential elections, defeating outgoing President Jair Bolsonaro.
According to Brazilian media, Da Silva received 50.86 percent of the votes of the Brazilian electorate, while his rival Bolsonaro received 49.14 percent of the vote.
The second round of the general elections in Brazil kicked off earlier yesterday, during which voters cast their votes to choose a president of the country.
