Dozens of displaced Syrian families return from refugee camps in Lebanon to their liberated towns and villages
Tens of displaced Syrian families, residing in refugee camps in Lebanon, have returned to their villages and towns that were liberated from terrorism by the Syrian Arab Army. This comes within the framework of the efforts being exerted by the Syrian State to help the displaced Syrians return to their homeland.
The parties concerned in the governorates of Homs and Damascus Countryside in cooperation with the directorates of health, civil affairs and migration, took all measures necessary for welcoming the returnees who entered the country via Al-Dabousia border crossing in Homs countryside and Al-Zamrani border crossing in Damascus Countryside.
The teams provided necessary medical services and child vaccines to the returnees and secured transportation means to transfer them to their areas of residence.
Returnee Saeed Amer told SANA that he has been displaced from his village for about 10 years and today he is back from Lebanon to his village Taldau in Al-Howleh area in Homs after security and stability have been restored.
He called on all other displaced Syrians to return and end the suffering they are experiencing in the refugee camps.
Shu’eib Hilwani from Al-Khaldiyyeh neighborhood in Homs said that he left his town 11 years ago because of terrorism, pointing out that most of the Syrians in refugee camps were forcibly displaced from their towns and houses due to the terrorist groups’ acts. He said that the displaced Syrians have experienced difficult circumstances in refugee camps, stressing that the homeland means security and safety even though it passes through hard times.
On her part, Hajer Jneidi, also from Homs, said I can’t express my happiness for returning to my homeland after ten years of displacement and for seeing the country enjoying security and stability thanks to the sacrifices of the Syrian army.
