A stand in Hebron to demand the return of the bodies of martyrs held by the occupation

Dozens of Palestinians demanded, during a stand today in the West Bank city of Hebron, the return of the bodies of martyrs held by the Israeli occupation, in a way that violates international conventions and covenants and human rights.

Wafa Agency stated that the participants in the vigil organized at the Martyr Fahd Al-Qawasmi School in the city center raised the Palestinian flag, and banners condemning the crimes of the occupation, calling on the International Committee of the Red Cross and human rights institutions to assume their responsibilities, and pressure the occupation to hand over the bodies of the martyrs detained by the Zionist entity.

The participants pointed out that continuing to hold the bodies of the martyrs constitutes a heinous crime that deprives their families of burying their children with dignity.

The Director of the Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Authority, Ibrahim Najjar, stressed the need to immediately release the prisoners who suffer from brutal occupation practices, including physical and psychological torture as well as the policies of deliberate medical neglect and solitary confinement.
