“The news agencies that take steps towards the protection of human dignity and the implementation of justice are valuable media,” he said.

The OANA organization was founded in 1961 on the initiative of UNESCO. Currently, the organization includes 44 agencies from 33 countries in the Asia and Pacific region

Raisi stressed that the media can pursue and implement the task of preserving human values, human dignity, and justice in society.

The Iranian president explained that the media’s role is to prevent violence, organized crime, ethnic and religious differences, drug smuggling and other issues.

Raisi pointed out that terrorism can have  cultural aspects , where facts are not dealt with, and there are persons who hide the truth and try to do so with lies and deceptions.

According to the challenges faced by the peoples of the region, President, Raisi said that assassination comes in different forms, including the assassination of personalities and economic assassination. He considered that imposing an embargo on countries is similar to waging a military war on them.
