The opening of the Jasmine Festival for direct sales in Damascus

On October 22ndthe Jasmine Company for Exhibitions and Conferences in cooperation with the Damascus Governorate and the Damascus Chamber of Commerce in Bab Touma Square in Damascus launched the Jasmine Festival for direct sales

More than 30 companies specializing in the food, chemical and textile industries, participated in Festival. 

The Governor of Damascus, Eng. Tariq Krishatistated that the festival is an opportunity for companies to present their foodstuff, clothing, and household products and sell directly to the consumer without any intermediary

He expressed his hope that the festival will achieve the purpose and goal for which it was held, and that it will meet the needs of citizens in terms of price and quality

He called on business owners to take into account the conditions, sell at discounted prices lower than the markets and present them with offers to achieve the purpose of the festival. 

Member of the Damascus Chamber of Commerce Mohieddin Arab Al-Halabi noted the diversity of companies participating in the festival to meet the various needs of the family

He said that the festival aims to positively intervene in the market, as the percentage of discounts on goods and products offered ranges between 15 and 30 percent. 

Director of Jasmine Company for Exhibitions and Conferences, organizer of the festival, Rasha Khalifawi, noted the great turnout witnessed by the festival since the first moments of its opening

She indicated that the festival is an opportunity for companies to show their foodstuff and consumer products and sell directly to the consumer

Among the participants, Alaa Al-Nabulsi, director of marketing and sales at the “TT and the Virgin Flowers” ​​Foundation for detergents, said that they participate in more than 40 types of detergents

Muhammad Badr, Director of Sales at AssalAlward Dairy and Cheese Company, explained that their participation in the festival aims to introduce the company’s products and their quality, while ensuring that they sell at discounted prices ranging between 15 and 25 percent
