A mass grave containing the remains of martyrs executed by ISIS terrorists found in Palmyra

Homs (ST): The competent authorities found a mass grave containing the remains of a number of martyrs near the archaeological theater in the ancient city of Palmyra that the terrorist organization (ISIS) executed years ago.

A News reporter in Palmyra stated that while securing the areas where the army had eliminated ISIS terrorists, the competent authorities found the remains of a number of civilian and military martyrs in a mass grave in the vicinity of the archaeological theater in the city of Palmyra. ISIS terrorists executed them during the period of their control of the city, and before they were defeated by the Syrian Arab Army.

The reporter pointed out that so far the remains of 12 martyrs have been removed and taken to hospitals for forensic medicine to identify their identities and hand them over to their parents.

The terrorist organization (ISIS) deliberately committed massacres in the cities, towns and villages that it controlled, with the aim of intimidating its residents and forcing them to leave or acquiesce in it.
