The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries prevent the maintenance of the Alouk water station

Hasakeh (ST): The Public Establishment for Drinking Water in Hasakeh Governorate announced that the Turkish occupation and its terrorist mercenaries continue to prevent the entry of its maintenance workshops to the Alouk water station, to maintain the damaged wells and deliver water to the city of Hasakeh.

The director of the Establishment, Engineer Mahmoud Al-Okla, stated in a statement to news reporter that the water produced from the Alouk station did not reach the reservoirs and the Al-Hima station, which feeds the city of Hasakeh with water due to the presence of a number of idle wells in the station, pointing out that the Turkish occupation forces prevent the entry of the Establishment’s maintenance workshops to the station to inspect these wells and their electrical and mechanical equipment, perform the necessary maintenance and return them completely to service.

Al-Okla pointed out that the station will not operate at its normal capacity and produce sufficient quantities of water, amounting to about 60,000 cubic meters per day, unless the maintenance workshops enter it and carry out the necessary maintenance.

It is noteworthy that the Allouk station has been suspended for more than 80 days as a result of the occupation forces and their terrorist organizations stealing the electricity that feeds the station, trespassing on water lines and exploiting them for private purposes.
