Russian delegation visits Al-Mujtahed Hospital, presents 4 baby incubators, other medical equipment

A Russian delegation, led by President of the Industrial and Commercial Committee at the Russian Duma Vladimir Gutinov, on Wednesday visited Damascus Hospital (Al-Mujtahed Hospital) and presented four baby incubators as well as surgical and emergency equipment. 

 The visit comes within the framework of the 5th Syrian-Russian Meeting on Following up the International Conference on the return of Syrian Refugees and Displaced. 

The Russian delegation toured the hospital’s sections to be briefed on the healthcare and services provided to patients. 

Director of the hospital Ahmed Abbas stressed the importance of the provided Russian medical equipment in supporting the hospital’s work, noting the difficulties facing the health sector due to economic sanctions, including the lack of medical equipment and the difficulty of securing them.
