With the aim of enriching the Arab chess library with valuable literature aimed at developing the level of smart game practitioners, international trainer Hassan Omrani has published a new book entitled The Repertoire of Opening in Ruy Lopez.
The book consists of a hundred pages in which the basic chess openings and its various moves, such as the algebraic method of scoring, are highlighted, and is the only method used by the International Chess Federation in its competitions and meetings, as well as a number of practical clarifications.
In a statement to SANA, author Hassan Omrani said, “The book contributes to raising all levels of chess and is not reserved for a particular category. It creates an idea based on the classic method away from technology, noting that the book discusses multiple branches through matches of the world’s most powerful players and highlights important ideas that completely change the amateur player’s view, and help professionals develop their defensive and offensive system.
Omrani explained that the book is one of the few books in Arabic that helps develop understanding of this ancient game, and a good knowledge tool for all chess amateurs and professionals.
Rui Lopez is the Spanish Opening of the chess game with specific moves and is one of the most popular openings used by both beginners and professional players.
