20 ISIS terrorists eliminated in a Syrian-Russian operation in Daraa

Moscow, (ST) – The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that units of the Syrian Arab Army and Russian forces killed 20 ISIS terrorists in a joint special operation in Daraa countryside.

The deputy head of the Russian Coordination Center in Hmeimim in Latakia, Major General Oleg Yegorov stated that the Syrian army “carried out, with the support of the Russian Air Force, a special operation in the southern province of Daraa, which resulted in the death of 20 ISIS terrorists.”

Yesterday, the Russian Air Force launched air strikes on a training camp for terrorists and a command center for them in the vicinity of the towns of Qatma and Azaz in the northwestern countryside of Aleppo. The air strikes resulted in the death and wounding of about 100 terrorists, and the destruction of their command center, stores of weapons, ammunition and equipment, and the entire camp headquarters, including 15 vehicles carrying Heavy machine guns and rocket launchers.
