The Fifth Syrian-Russian Meeting for Follow-up to the International Conference on the Return of Syrian Refugees and Displaced Persons kicks off

Damascus (ST): The work of the fifth Syrian-Russian joint meeting to follow up on the international conference on the return of Syrian refugees and displaced persons started today at the Conferences Palace in Damascus.
The work of the meeting, which will be held over four days, includes a joint session of the Syrian and Russian coordination ministerial bodies, in the presence of representatives of the United Nations, the International Committee of the Red Cross and other humanitarian organizations.
It also includes joint meetings between the two sides in Damascus and a number of governorates covering various sectors, including the economy, education, industry, agriculture, local administration, energy, media and culture, with the aim of reaching cooperation agreements in various fields in addition to events and activities held in a number of governorates, including the distribution of Russian aid and equipment to some institutions in Syria.
The fourth meeting to follow up on the international conference on the return of Syrian refugees and displaced persons was held last June.
