Uganda shuts down two districts due to Ebola outbreak
On October 16th, Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni imposed a lockdown in the central regions of Mubindi and Kasanda, which are the epicenters of the Ebola outbreak, and ordered a night-time curfew and closed public spaces
The Ugandan Ministry of Health said that 19 deaths and 58 confirmed infections of the virus, which causes hemorrhagic fever, often fatal, have been recorded since the outbreak was first reported on September 20.
