The national campaign for detecting breast, cervical and prostate cancer continues in Hama province.
Clinics in the city of Salhab on Saturday received more citizens who want to conduct diagnostic and laboratory tests to ascertain that their health condition is good.
Dr. Eyad Zena, Director of Salhab Clinic, told SANA that turnout by people who visit to the clinic for medical tests is high, stressing that the clinic will continue to render its free services during the days of the campaign in this area which will last until October 22.
Abeer Ibrahim, Rihab Alloush and Shadia Hmeidoush, three women who are breast cancer survivors, said they discovered that they had cancer during previous national campaigns for detecting breast cancer in Hama, pointing out that discovering the disease in its early stages is very important for increasing recovery rate.
The National Campaign for detecting cancer in Hama province started on September 19th and it will last until November 9th.
