36th International Islamic Unity Conference: Palestine is the central cause of the world

Participants in the 36th International Islamic Unity Conference, which concluded its activities in Tehran on Friday, have stressed that Palestine is the central cause of the world, reiterating the need to unify the Islamic countries’ efforts as to confront crises, wars, sedition attempts and terrorism around the world.

Intellectuals and researchers from 60 countries, including Syria, took part in the event.

In a statement issued by the conference’s media committee, the participants said that attaining peace, security and stability in the region and the world will never be possible unless the causes of global crises, namely global Zionism and the Israeli entity, are destroyed.

Eliminating terrorism necessitates unifying efforts to dry up the resources that supply terrorism with arms, money and extremist ideas, the participants emphasized.

They condemned some countries’ normalization of relations with the Israeli entity, pointing out that global arrogance forces, led by the United States and the looter West, seek to divide the Islamic world, steal its resources and promote a wrong type of liberal and secular culture among the peoples’ of the Islamic states.
