Putin during his meeting with Bin Zayed: Moscow and Abu Dhabi are working to achieve stability in global energy markets
Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed that his country and the United Arab Emirates are working actively, within the framework of the “OPEC Plus” group, in order to achieve stability in global energy markets, noting that the group’s actions are not directed against any party.
Russia Today reported that Putin expressed today, at the beginning of his talks with the President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in St. Petersburg, his thanks to the UAE for its mediation efforts in solving humanitarian issues and settling crises around the world.
Putin said: Bilateral relations with the UAE are developing successfully, and it is an important factor for stability in the region.
For his part, Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed pointed to the increase in the volume of trade exchange between the two countries in recent years, despite the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic and the increase in the number of Russian tourists visiting the UAE. He pointed out that there are 4,000 Russian companies operating in the UAE, expressing his hope to multiply the indicators of cooperation between the two countries in the coming years.
