DAMASCUS-The Syrian government has vehemently condemned the terrorist explosions which hit Erbil and other Iraqi cities on Sunday.
In a statement on Monday, the government stressed that terrorism has neither identity nor religion, so all countries should cooperate to confront this global terrorism.
On behalf of the Syrian people, the government expressed condolences to the martyrs’ families in the brotherly country of Iraq.
On Sunday, six terrorist blasts, four of which rocked the city of Erbil and were caused by booby-trapped cars. The bombings killed six people and injured 36.
Also, forty people were killed and tens were wounded when a suicide bomber wearing an explosive belt attacked mourners inside a mosque in al-Musayab area, south of Baghdad.
