Occupation forces besiege Jerusalem and hundreds of settlers storm Al-Aqsa
Hundreds of Israeli settlers stormed into Al-Aqsa Mosque today under the protection of the occupation forces, which imposed a security belt on the city of Jerusalem.
According to the Department of Islamic Endowments in Jerusalem, Wafa news agency reported that hundreds of settlers stormed into Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Mughrabi Gate in groups, each group consisting of 40 settlers. They carried out provocative tours in its courtyards under heavy security from the occupation forces.
In the early morning, the occupation forces stormed the Al-Musalla Al-Qibli in Al Aqsa, besieged the worshipers in it, and they attacked the Palestinians in its courtyards and arrested a number of them.
Besides that, the occupation forces closed most of the streets of Jerusalem with cement barriers , isolated the roads and spread in the Old City and around Al-Aqsa, which obstructed the movement of Jerusalemites in the city.
