Moscow: US arms supplies to Ukraine encourage  a direct military confrontation between Russia and NATO

Moscow (ST): Russia warned again today of the consequences of the continued flow of US weapons to Ukraine. Konstantin Vorontsov, Deputy Director of Arms Control and Nuclear Proliferation Affairs of the Russian Foreign Ministry, said at the meeting of the First Committee of the United Nations General Assembly that US arms supplies to Ukraine are pushing towards a direct military conflict between Russia and NATO.
Vorontsov stressed that the United States is increasing the supply of weapons to Ukraine, providing its army with intelligence information, and ensuring the direct participation of its fighters and advisors in the crisis.
