Khamenei: The recent riots and breaches of security are plans by Washington and the Zionist entity

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, affirmed that the recent riots and breaches of security in Iran are among the schemes of the United States and the usurping and false Zionist entity.

During the graduation ceremony of a batch of students from the officers’ universities of the Iranian armed forces today, Khamenei said: “The death of the young woman, Mahsa Amini, is an unfortunate incident that burned our hearts, but the reaction of some to her by destabilizing security in the streets, burning the Qur’an and setting fire to mosques, cars and public buildings, is not an ordinary and normal act, but rather a pre-planned riot.”

Khamenei added: “In the events of recent days, the police and security forces have been subjected to injustice, and the entire Iranian people have been subjected to injustice, even though they appeared strong as usual and will appear strong in the future as well in front of enemies.”

Khamenei continued: “A lot of riots occur worldwide, in Europe and in Paris, for example, big riots happen from time to time, but has it happened so far for the US President or the US House of Representatives to announce support for the rioters in them, and therefore if there was no death case? Young woman Amini, they would have used another pretext to stir up unrest and riots at this time.”

Khamenei stressed that the Iranian people will remain strong, and will remain a protective shield for the country, no matter how enemies try to provoke unrest and riots.
