The Supreme Political Council in Yemen calls on the forces of aggression to immediately end their siege
Sanaa (ST): The Supreme Political Council of Yemen called on the forces of aggression to immediately end their siege on the Yemeni people, stressing that the Yemeni armed forces will not stand idly by if the aggression and siege on the country continues.
The Yemen Saba news agency quoted the Council as saying in a statement today: “Our armed forces will not stand idly by, if the aggression and siege continue.”
The Supreme Political Council reiterated that the armed forces are capable of defending the Yemeni people, protecting them and restoring their rights.
This statement comes a few hours after the end of the temporary truce, without agreeing to extend it due to the intransigence and evasion of the forces of aggression, and their refusal to lift the siege on the Yemeni people.
