With the participation of Syria, Palestine, Egypt, and Iraq, the 10th Arab Cycling Champions concluded on Saturday in Lattakia.
In regards to the women’s individual competitions for a distance of 55 km, Miran Al-Fares won the first place, Fatima Shouk took the second place, and Maha Shamlas in the third.
Miran Al-Faris, Fatima Shouk and Sandy Dergham from Barada club won the first three places in a row in the female U-23 category.
The Iraqi cyclist ,Abdullah Abdul-Khader Ta’in , won the first place for a distance of 130 km in the individual competitions for the men’s category .
The first three places in the U-23 youth category were won by Ali Moussalli from Barada Club, Omar al-Baz from al-Mohafaza Club, and Wahbi Abdullah from the Iraqi club.
The three winners of each category were crowned in the presence of the Governor of Lattakia and members of the Executive Office of the General Sports Federation.
