Sayyed Nasrallah: Resistance has achieved tangible results, and it must be adhered to

Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, affirmed that the resistance has achieved tangible results, and it must be adhered to, and not  influenced by voices that do not offer an alternative, but speak with illusions and  give instructions.

During his speech on Saturday, Sayyed Nasrallah said that when the Syrian Badia region was liberated, the American planes were trying to transport ISIS leaders to other places and countries such as Afghanistan, noting in this regard that there is an attempt by the United States to revive it in Syria and Iraq again.

Nasrallah reiterated that the United States of America created the terrorist organization (ISIS), protects it, secures and facilitates its work and finances   it where it  is located, pointing out that one of the American officials said explicitly: “The objectives of the war on Syria and the region are to steal its oil and wealth.” .

On the Lebanese issue, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah made it clear that there is no political alliance in Lebanon today that has the majority, noting that the session to elect the President of the Republic in the Parliament last Thursday confirmed that whoever wants to elect a president must move away from turning the elections into a  challenge game. He expressed his hope that a real government would be formed whether a president is elected or not.

On the issue of maritime borders and oil and gas rights, Nasrallah reiterated that the Lebanese state is the one that takes the appropriate decision that it sees in the interest of the country. He said that we are facing decisive days , which will become clear in the near future .He pointed out that if the result was good this will open new horizons for the Lebanese, and will be the result of cooperation and national solidarity.

Nasrallah underlined the necessity of following up on international developments because what is happening in the Russian-Ukrainian issue could change the course of the world, and Lebanon is concerned with following up out of diligence and responsibility.

Nasrallah pointed out that it is absurd to bet on America, saying: Look how Russia fights with the Ukrainians, and then with the Europeans, and sits and watches them, and gains results.

Regarding the sinking of the Lebanese boat off the coast of Tartus, Sayyed Nasrallah pointed to the importance of revealing the truth about what happened and is happening in similar incidents. He confirmed that it is a repeated crime committed against families and infants. Therefore, we call for a serious judicial investigation.

Nasrallah added: We thank the Syrian authorities, especially Tartous governorate, and the people on Arwad Island, for what they have done to save the living  and retrieve the bodies of the victims.
